Infants attain many important milestones in the first year of life - smiling, rolling over, sitting up, crawling, standing, walking and speaking their first words. Parents are the main teachers in this crucial phase of their lives. It is a time of discovery for both parents and children. The talk will cover the major developmental milestones and ways for parents to participate in their children's development. It will also address developmental issues such as crying, feed refusal and thumb sucking, and ways to handle them.
